Help Us to Help Others
How YOU Can be a Part of What we Do
Mercy Trucks is greatly in need of volunteers to assist in the running of our programmes. There are opportunites to serve in almost any capacity, so while we are most in need of people with certain specific skills, not having these most certainly does not disqualify you from being a part of our ministry.
Listed below are some of the needs we have for the countries that we work in. If these opportunities are not suitable for you, but you have a heart for one of these nations, please do still contact us and we will work out how we can help you to serve.
- Guinea-Bissau
- We need people with contruction skills to assist in the building of local health facilities. You would also be able to help with converting and outfitting the mobile medical units we are working on.
- There are opportunities for people in healthcare professions to serve by working in a local clinic or with our mobile medical unit. You would also be able to be involved in basic health education, including (but not limited to) HIV/AIDS and Malaria.
- People who want to work with children and yooung people.
- If you would like to bring a team to Guinea-Bissau, we would be very glad to host you. Please let us know what your team would be interested in doing, even if it isn't related to the points above.
If you are interested in serving here, please contact our Mission reach registrar, Les Rue, at missionreach@oval.com.
- The Ukraine
- There is a need for people who are dentists or dental nurses to assist with outreaches lasting from 3 days to 2 weeks.
- Supplies, medical and mechanical.
- We need people to pray for those are working in the ministry and the people they are reaching out to.
- We are also keen to have teams, large or small, join our outreaches.
If you are interested in serving here, please see the website for Mercy Trucks Ukraine.
- Sri Lanka
- We are looking for people skilled in construction to join us in our development work.
- There are also great volunteering opportunities at schools to teach English, and in orphanage to do children's work.
- Again, we are very keen to have teams come and serve with us If you would like to do this, please let us know what your team would be most interested in doing.
If you are interested in serving here, please contact our Mission Reach registrar, Les Rue at missionreach@oval.com.
