Mercy Trucks is funded by people like you. We desperately need donations to continue our work around the world in 2008. Please consider giving as much as you can to support these activities. Every donation changes a life.
Mercy Trucks is a registered charity and everyone involved is a volunteer who pays their own expenses.
Instant donations can be made by debit or credit cards by cheque, bank
transfer or standing order (UK only). |

In the beginning of 2006 and again in 2008 we drove a truck from the U.K. to Guinea-Bissau loaded with medical and educational equipment. This is a three week journey of 4,600 miles and costs about £1 ($2) per mile (€1 per km).
We are involved in building projects and a local clinic, but our main mission is converting a number of
shipping containers for use as mobile medical units. Doing so costs around £5000 each. |

In Sri Lanka, we're working on new projects to help with agricultural and micro-enterprise development (including new ways of producing paper pulp and ethanol from sugar cane waste).
We help in schools to set them up with power-stabilised computers and provide beds and mattresses for children living in orphanages. |

| In the Ukraine, we run a mobile dental clinic with YWAM. The clinic visits prisons and orphanages, providing essential help to adults and children who would otherwise simply not see a dentist. Each visit costs about £250. |

| Although the Pacific Islands are some of the Earth's most beautiful locations, many of them are home to the poorest people in the world. The islands of Fiji are no exception. Mercy Trucks, with its sister ministries Marine Reach and Mercy Link, has been reaching out to the Indo-Fijian people for years, providing physical and spiritual care to the needy. Each year many teams arrive in Fiji, offering dental, optical and ophthalmologic outreach. In addition, evangelistic outreach teams express the love of Christ to the Indo-Fijian populations. |

| Since 2001, Mercy Trucks has worked alongside Mercy Link in the Philippines, providing training and doing evangelism and medical outreach to the local Filipinos. They have many projects running each year, including weekly medical outreaches to Mangyan tribes, where mobile medical units reach these remote people with medicine, dentists, nurses and doctors.
Each year, Mercy Trucks partners with Mercy Link to run their Mini Medical School. Each week, students join the Mercy Trucks from the Mercy Link base and do evangelical, medical, and dental outreach to tribal people in the mountains of Mindoro province. |
